saving threatened Bilbies

the Greater Bilby (Macrotis lagotis) is a threatened species, found in Western Australia. Both their range and population size are significantly reduced by threats including feral predators and habitat loss. Kanyana Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre (near Perth, Western Australia) runs a captive breeding program to restock populations and improve genetic diversity.
