highs and lows

everything in life has highs and lows - and a friend of mine said something yesterday (that was actually quite topical): " life is like photography: you develop from the negatives"
so today started off as a magical adventure down the west side of Exmouth Cape, to explore the Cape Range National Park. Harry, Kate, Brooke and i took a small roadtrip to snorkel South Mandu then Oyster Stacks - some of the best snorkelling sites on Ningaloo!!
we also met some friendly kangaroos, saw a loggerhead turtle hatchling (unfortunately it had been eaten by birds), visited Milyering Discovery Centre (which i wouldn't recommend - the women who ran the place were a little abrupt) and saw so much wildlife - birds and reptiles in particular - as we were driving which was spectacular!
unfortunately, my camera had a bit of a splash at one of the snorkel sites and has given up on life for a while which is a little devastating for me. but the people at Sal Salis were super lovely whilst trying to revive it, and hopefully i'll be back on track with a new one soon.
until then, there might be a bit of a break in vlog posts
here is my vlog xox
so there you have it - when shit kinda hits the roof, but you still live in one of the most magical places on Planet Earth, it's hard to know what to think... try to make the best of the situation and fix the problem as soon as i can seems to be my only option.
"they say that salt water cures everything: sweat, tears and the ocean"
so perhaps i'll go for a run, have a cry and then dip in the sea (...and then buy a new camera)
