just a quick video about the Arid Recovery Annual Trapping event, held in South Australia :) the idea is to survey mammal and reptile biodiversity within (and outside) predator-proof fenced areas. this gives an idea of the distribution and abundance of local (and reintroduced) species, and also gives a better understanding of the effects of feral predation on native arid species (and the capacity for recovery of arid environments).
i travelled across to Adelaide and caught a ride up to the reserve near Roxby Downs - and had such a wonderful time!! :)
